The Golondrinas are tourist excursion boats stationed in the Barcelona Port Vell. The word golondrinas describes a motor boat type, and has also the meaning of ‘sparrows’. Three different itineraries and three different types of boats are offered to visit Barcelona’s port and coast.
Itineraries:
Port Itinerary: aprox 35 min ride - a visit of the Port facilities, piers and docks in a traditional boat. Price: adults 5 eur, children 3.5 eur Port and Coast Itinerary: aprox 90 min ride – modern catamarans that sail out of the Port and along Barcelona seafront, to the Forum Diagonal Mar area and back Price: adults 10.50 eur, children 4.50 eur Special Tour Itinerary: to consult according to the sea state Boats: Typical: boats with specially designed to navigate in closed waters. The wooden body has two decks (lower and upper), also called imperial. It has two bridges in order to facilitate the manoeuvre in narrow spaces. Catamaran: with two decks, adapted for disabled persons, with toilets Catamaran Omnibus: also with two decks, adapted for disabled persons, with toilets, the biggest of the three boats.
