Official Barcelona taxis are yellow and black and can be seen around the whole city, and especially around the touristic sites.

Normally it’s possible to stop them anywhere on the street without the need to reserve previosuly. In case you will be taking one from an official taxi stop, you need to enter in the first one standing in the row.

A trip of around 10 min can cost you around 5 eur. If the taxi is not on one of its stops, the most indicated places to stop it are the street corners, to avoid traffic interruption and be safer yourself. The green or the red light on the top will indicate whether the taxi is available or not, and an illuminated number will indicate  the number of available seats for a shared ride.
