The Columbus monument is one of the most characteristic monuments of Barcelona. It was built in occacion of the World Expo 1888. It’s an over 60 m high column with the statue of Cristofor Columbus on the top. It’s situated at the end of the famous Ramblas and rappresents one of the most emblematic points of the city. It’s equipped with a 5-6 persons capacity elevator that allows you to reach the top and enjoy one of the most suggestive views of Barcelona and the coast.
